The 1 st year Anniversary special s 1 piece of chicken for $1
Went in to try on the dollar chicken
The restaurant was full every one was waiting as we had to wait for 20 minutes for the chicken
They were obviously not organized enough before displaying the discount
The chicken looked good but not all that fresh
Taste was disappointing
A 20 minute wait was too much

So disappointing. My daughter and I saw a special on the window for popcorn chicken poutine. Went in asked for no cheese curds and gravy on the side, 2 orders. Got our order and my daughter say dad there is only 3 popcorn chicken. I was like no way. I checked and sure enough 3 pieces in each. Went back in and the lady owner said this is how their popcorn chicken is. We saved them money on the cheese curds and we got 3 pcs of popcorn chicken. Should have went to KFC. Waste of money. Will not go back!

FOOD:
We had come here on a Wednesday afternoon at around 12:30 pm for lunch. My mother and I had settled on the Two Chicken Sandwich Meals ($14.50) which included a Chicken Sandwich, Fries, and Soft Drink for each of us. I loved how the meal was presented, coming in a large red basket, with the Chicken Sandwich wrapped up, and the Fries loose in the basket. In terms of the Chicken Sandwich, I found that it was quite large, with two large pieces of fried chicken, along with lettuce, cheese, tomato, and mayonnaise.
The chicken itself wasn't dry, or over-fried, which made it taste quite appetizing. I did find that the bun was a bit dry however, I added some ketchup to it, making it taste better afterwards. The Fries were delicious as they were hot (temperature-wise), and crunchy, along with being a good size, which made them wonderful to eat with my sandwich. Overall, a lot of care was put into making the meal look and taste delicious, which was worth the money that I had paid!
ATMOSPHERE:
This restaurant was situated inside of a strip mall across the street from Walmart, along with many other big-box stores in the area. The restaurant itself was quite small, with only about ten tables however, it felt cozy, and the different coloured chairs, tables, and walls were a nice addition. I loved the menus behind the cash register, which were easy to read, with lots of pictures, and the prices nicely labeled. The counter was also a good size, which made it accessible for many customers at once who were waiting for their orders. Definitely a comfortable restaurant that made me want to stay for a long period of time!
SERVICE:
When we had first arrived, there was a middle-aged man that was doing the cooking in the back. He then came to the front and took our order, then went back to cooking. He was the only one there, which made me admire his ability to multitask as he was taking orders and cooking at the same time. He was very pleasant, and asked us a few times how we were doing, and if we needed anything while we were dining. Afterwards, a middle-aged woman came in, and took our tray from us once we were done, and thanked us for coming. We felt welcome in this restaurant, with both the man and woman making us feel comfortable as we dined.
COST:
2 Chicken Sandwich Meals (Included Chicken Sandwich, Fries, Soft Drink): $14.50 + Tax = $16.38
WOULD YOU RETURN?
YES! The food was good, along with excellent customer service, and a nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for food that is cooked right! -

Will most likely not return. Waited nearly 35-40 for our order, I ordered a chicken wrap combo (approx. $9). I understand there were only 2 employees serving about 10 customers at the time we were there but the lady that worked out front lacked simple customer service. She could've stated prior to ordering that the wait time could be longer than usual but failed to do so. We even witnessed an irate customer ask for a refund. After we finally did get our orders, she did not apologize for the delay, was not friendly, only gave 1 ketchup, 1 hot sauce pack and 1 napkin and put my order in 3 separate bags. Horrible service, lacklustre food. Save your time and money.
